Nick Johnson, head of advertising and sponsorship at international law firm Osborne Clarke says:
"The Olympics in 2012 has generated loads of interesting advertising and sponsorship work. Whilst 2018 will generate work in the UK for advertisers and sponsors, it simply won't be on the same scale as if we'd won the bid."
