easyFairs® achieves 28% revenue increase and strong profitability in FY 2010-11

easyFairs CEO Jean-François Quentin

Brussels, 20 September 2011: easyFairs, Europe’s leading organiser of time & cost-effective trade shows, has exceeded its own growth forecasts for the most recent fiscal year
As of 30 June 2011, the company reported annual revenue of €35.7 million for FY 2010-2011, compared with €27.9 million for 2009-2010, representing an increase of 28%. The excellent financial results reflect market uptake of the easyFairs business model and appreciation for the company’s on-going product development.

“We take these excellent financial results as evidence of the market’s enthusiastic acceptance of our business model, which consistently meets with favour throughout the trade show industry. With bookings already up by more than 15% for the coming year, we are optimistic that we will maintain our steep growth trajectory for 2011-2012 as well,” commented easyFairs CEO Jean-François Quentin. “Our aim is to reach at least €50 million in revenue by 2014 through organic growth and acquisition, and we are on the right path to achieve that goal.”

OMExpo and Expo E-Commerce
Founded in 2004, easyFairs has enjoyed steadily increasing success, strengthened by the strategic acquisition of select established show brands in targeted regions and industries, such as its most recent addition of the OMExpo and Expo E-Commerce trade fairs to its Iberian IT show portfolio.

easyFairs also continues to expand its offerings to anticipate the needs of its customers, bringing to market innovative solutions such as the Online365 Pack™, a new feature which provides some 10,000 exhibitors a second route to market, complementing the onsite offer.

Online365 Pack now affords all exhibitors at easyFairs shows year-round internet exposure to a highly qualified visitor audience and enables buyers and show visitors to search for exhibited products across all sectors and countries.

“We have defined a balanced but ambitious growth strategy for the future of easyFairs and plan to continue reinvesting our profits into further developments within existing countries, strategic acquisitions and new products. I am delighted that easyFairs can once again bring positive news to the exhibitions industry,” commented easyFairs executive Chairman and Founder Eric Everard, who is also currently the serving President of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibitions Industry.
