LinkDirect has appointed Simon Hedges as its new business development manager
Birkenhead door drop marketing company LinkDirect has appointed Simon Hedges as its new business development manager selling the company’s services to publishers, advertisers and advertising agencies.
Hedges, 40, formerly spent 13 years at McCanns in Prestbury, latterly as the agency’s target marketing manager with responsibility for door drop campaigns with clients such as Aldi and More Than
His twin roles at LinkDirect are to enhance the company's existing sales operation and to raise its profile in general.
Founded in 1995 by Chris Roxburgh,Peter Rand and Kaye Smith, the company now employs over 20 staff and in 2007, it was voted Distribution House of the Year at the Data Publishers Association Awards. Clients include the NHS, Honda, Pirelli, BT, Lexus, Spar and Labour and the Conservatives.
Kaye Smith, LinkDirect's sales director, said: "Simon’s arrival is a real coup for us – his wealth of experience and breadth of contacts made him the outstanding candidate for the role.
“We look forward to him getting stuck into promoting our range of traditional door drop services, as well as the new projects we are bringing to the marketplace.”
