CST Launch New Retail Headset System at Retail Business Technology Expo 2011

New retail headset systems increase productivity, while customer call points improve service around the store
Stand 524, Retail Business Technology Expo, 16-17 March 2011, Earls Court, London.

Instant communication between cashier staff and supervisors, via new lightweight digital headsets, minimise time lost owing to scanning problems. Whether authorization, spills, age-related questions or coinage requests are slowing the queue, cashier staff can obtain immediate assistance via Call Systems Technology’s new QDigital Retail Headset system.  Full details will be unveiled at Retail Business Technology Expo 2011.
CST will also show new Indyme customer service points, which generate more business for retailers by ensuring customers get help and advice where they want it, when they want it.  The highly visible, rugged Call Boxes and Aisle Help Points to be launched at Retail Expo will enhance customer service throughout the store.
Indyme: a higher level of customer service
Difficulty obtaining assistance is a key reason for shoppers abandoning a purchase.  CST’s new Indyme range is designed to sort that issue once and for all and ensure that retailers make the sale.
Customers simply push a button located on the Indyme Call Box or Aisle Help Point when they need advice or assistance, for example with heavy products on high shelves.  The Indyme system alerts relevant members of staff so they know exactly where help is needed and can get there quickly.
The Indyme system improves customer service and adds flexibility at help points; it can send messages to a wide range of communications devices worn by staff – including pagers, two-way radios or PDAs and Smartphones.  A data logging facility reports all uses of the messaging system, delivering what is potentially critical management information, for example, highlighting delays in responding to customer requests for help.
Retail Show visitors will see just how simple the Indyme system is for both customers and staff.  Buttons are wireless, have a battery life of around four years, are easy and unobtrusive to install and can be sited just about anywhere.  They need no maintenance and their running costs are virtually zero.
Also on show is Indyme’s Cashier Call Box, which enables cashiers to call for help instantly and discreetly, and a selection from Call Systems Technology’s award-winning range of communications products, including DECT phones, alarms and pager systems.
