Retailers and ecommerce professionals have less than two weeks to cut the cost of attending this year’s Internet Retailing conference by booking early.

Internet Retailing 2011, featuring keynote speakers from Asda and Facebook, will be held on October 4 at the Novotel in London’s Hammersmith.
The cost of a place is currently £295 & VAT for early bookings, but this rate ends on August 1 when it will rise to £495 & VAT.
Mark Pigou, co-founder of the Internet Retailing brand and conference organiser, said: “Over the years the Internet Retailing conference has become a key date in the ecommerce calendar and this year’s event will be no exception. We have an impressive line-up of speakers, including some very senior and experienced members of the industry who are keen to share their knowledge.
“We’re confident our audience will take away a great deal to think about while also gaining inspiration for new ways to improve their own businesses over the year ahead. The event regularly sells out but until the end of July, we’re offering the chance to sign up early and make a real saving on the cost of attending, something that we’re sure everyone will be keen to do in these times of austerity.”
Keynote speakers at this year’s event include Mark Hodgkinson, digital and financial services director at Asda and Gavin Sathianathan, head of commerce partnerships at Facebook. A third keynote presenter will be announced in due course.
The three conference streams of this, the sixth annual Internet Retailing conference, will focus on The Customer, The Team and The Industry. Confirmed speakers hail from online retailers including Waitrose, Air Asia.com, Overstock.com, British Airways, Majestic Wine, Urban Outfitters, Lakeland, Thomas Pink, JD Williams and Naked Wines.
The conference has capacity for 500 conference delegates, filled for five years running. It also attracts up to 750 additional visitors who have access to the display area and the schedule of eight workshops. More than 40 of the 45 available stand spaces in the exhibition hall have already been booked.
