"We were impressed by the speed in which Digital Agency Expert came back with a shortlist of agencies" / Cartridge World

“We have commissioned the agency Digital Agency Expert suggested” – Cartridge World | TheMarketingblog

“Cartridge World are building a new ecommerce website to ensure our quality products are available to all our valued customers online. As part of this process, we approached Digital Agency Expert with our ecommerce brief. They took this and sourced the best agencies to match the brief to put forward a proposal”
We were firstly impressed by the speed in which Digital Agency Expert came back with a shortlist of agencies. When meeting with the agencies supplied, we found all of them to present a highly professional and thorough presentation. We were confident all of them fully understood the brief and were potential partners.
We have now commissioned one of the agencies Digital Agency Expert suggested to build our ecommerce platform. Thus, we would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Digital Agency Expert service to others.

“Customers are using their mobiles to research everything, from where to order flowers to where to find a cab"

Image002
Annette Iafrate, UK MD of Constant Contact, said:
“2012 will be the year that businesses see real results from social media marketing"

Following on from this, new tools and technologies will allow companies to better engage in order to build on their existing customer base and augment word-of-mouth recommendations.

“Customers are using their mobiles to research everything, from where to order flowers to where to find a cab. While we are still not at the results stage with mobile marketing, 2012 will see more companies using it to effectively target their customers. Small businesses need to address the fact that they can be located easily by mobile users.
“With the consumerisation of IT and the rising use of smart phones, targeting specific, local customers is also now much easier than it has been previously. Small business owners are time- and resource-starved and, as such, need advice on how to easily implement mobile tactics that can deliver true value to their companies.
“Deals and vouchers can now be tailored to exactly what each consumer wants, based on their behaviour across all channels. Most importantly, these promotions are now measurable, so business owners can see the return on their investment.”

Jesse Basset provides 5 Golden Rules Of Blogger Outreach | Billington Cartmell

Posted by Jesse on Aug 16, 2011 in social media

Blogger outreach is becoming an increasingly common part of digital strategies as brands look to tap into this often influential group. Getting key bloggers on board for a particular brand or campaign helps you not only communicate with a targeted audience, but adds a credible voice to activity, as bloggers will write about brands as they as they see fit and in their own words.

However, you need to approach blogger outreach in the right way to be able to successfully engage with bloggers and to avoid it being a crass attempt to buy their time. Also with influential bloggers becoming wise to brand involvement, as they approached on an increasingly frequent basis, it’s more important than ever to play by their rules.
Here are the golden rules of blogger engagement that we have put together based on our experience and the latest thinking from the bloggers themselves.

"A189% increase in traffic from social media platforms, a 219% increase in revenue and a 102% increase in traffic"

Social media used to be a ‘nice’ add-on to a digital marketing strategy; a way of showing consumers you’re a brand with its finger on the pulse. But 2011 marks the year when social media has shifted from being nice to essential.

In May 2010, the overall visits to social networking sites took over the overall number of visits to Search Engines, clearly highlighting the reason why brands should be actively integrating this channel into their overall marketing strategy.
Social media’s public involvement means it’s a fantastic channel for market and product research and an ideal space for improving customer service, but it's also an excellent way to add variation to link portfolios and turns the public themselves into handy link builders.

By adding social functionality to share this linkbait, with the likes of Tweet functionality, and Facebook Likes, the content can travel further through a multitude of users and followers. Usually this is much further than could be achieved through solely trying to link to the content or placing it on a blog.

Social elements play a huge part in the traffic generated, but also add to the fact that these citations and “votes” in the form of Tweets and Likes go a long way to indicating to search engines that this content has value and deserves to rank for relevant keywords.
